So I just "beat" Gone Home. I don't think I can even call that a game since it doesn't have any actual gameplay. The story wasn't really all that interesting either. I might as well have gone to the library and checked out a YA novel, at least that doesn't cost $20. I feel like it would have worked better as a book instead of a game. It wasn't even marketed as a visual novel. How did it get such good reviews?

« on: August 19, 2014, 01:33:41 pm »Well the ultimate pokemon is Unown...Unown doesn't have its own unique attack. Anything that can learn TMs can learn hidden power.
Because not only does it have its own unique attack, but it never gets knocked out because no one uses them.
Unown are a weird pokemon for me because they seem like they should serve a greater purpose... but they don't...

Speaking of books, I must recommend the book "Jasper Dash and the Flame Pits of Delaware." You know how sometimes, books that are supposed to take place in real places end up being so inaccurate that it seems as if the author did literally no research? This book is a parody of books like those.
