Y'know, right now it seems as if the mausoleum is getting more patronage than the smithy.  Too bad you can't tax the mausoleum, eh?  :P

So other than Url Shekk and Rrongol, any interesting enemies randomly popping in?  Medusa?  Dragons?  A bear in an ill-fitting sweater?

HAN-D (the robot janitor) is hidden on the final level in a cargo crate that's a different color than the rest.  Pretty sure it's black/dark grey if I remember right?  It's darker than the rest, that's for sure.

Unlocking the Bandit is merely getting to beating the third stage, unlocking the Enforcer is to kill the Vagrant, Colossus, and the Magma Worm (not in the same run).  Acrid's already been explained, and finding the Huntress isn't hard.  Sniper's to beat the game once, and there's another unlock for beating the game five times.  The achievement/unlockables screen tells you how to unlock everything, though I'm still having troubles finding the Miner ("Clear a Path for the Survivor!").  He's probably in the Magma Caverns, and I hate that place so much that I instantly hit the portal every time I end up there.

Gender and racial equalities are starting to take it's toll on my general disposition.

I'm in college and, as college should be, I have a teacher who makes us actually work at collegiate level.  Term papers, using our brains, projects, actual things that our high school teachers warned us college would be like.  Not like some of the classes that I've taken which is pretty much "show up, do the questions in the back of the chapter, go home."  This is a refreshing break from most of my collegiate experience insofar, having a teacher who actually encourages learning through hard work.  It's of course a technological class, security based (CISSP for those out there who know of it), and is of course filled with many men and a few sprinklings of women who are actually interested in the field.

Then we have that one Hispanic female who wants to breeze on through without doing any work at all.  Since our teacher is so unfair and coddling with his "boy's club," she must make certain that administration knows about how he's mistreating the females!

So now my teacher's getting flak about his class being too hard.  A class where the material and knowledge level is difficult to begin with, is now being deemed "too hard" because some whiny, lazy woman complained that she had to do a term paper.  We take two or three grades in that class in total:  Term Paper,  Team Term Paper (which is yours combined with two others in a well-written document), and end of the chapter tests that take 3 minutes to do and have their answers in an appendix in the back.  The woman in question can actually be dropped from this class because she's failed to show up to class more than 4 times, and any attempts to actually help her with the material are shot down, with her basically wanting the work done for her.  Since she's a woman though, and Hispanic, her opinion obviously means more than the other Hispanic and White males in there, therefore the work is far too hard!

There's equality (which is fine and dandy, and I try to treat everyone equally), and then there's looking for advantages over others because your skin is a shade darker, or because you've got boobs.

Dwarves will offer their services when you have a level 3 blacksmith (which I have) and a level 2 palace (...), and Elves offer to move in when you have a level 3 marketplace (which I have), an inn (also check), and a level 2 palace (.....).  When you build a bungalow, a lounge is automatically created somewhere.  If you have a rogue's guild, a gambling hall is also created.  This is done for every bungalow that you build.
Ah, forgive my bad information, it's been some time since played the first one.  For some reason I thought those lounges just showed up whenever they felt like it, sort of like the peasant houses.

Also, that damned Bork thing got me hard.  The only thing I remembered the heroes saying was the wizard and his "Abderadzak!" or whatever it was.

Well, unless Rrongol decides that we no longer need to have an outpost here in the middle of nowhere, I'll totally take your blacksmith again.

Also, if I remember correctly, dwarves start showing up when you have a level 3 smithy, and elves show up whenever they damn well feel like it an elven bungalow shows up.  The elven inn or whatever that just pops up when you're not paying attention.  It was either that or a gambling hall.  Man, now I have to redownload this again.

Playing Risk of Rain solo is almost a death sentence, while playing with a buddy means that if you can't take off in DPS, usually your friend can.  That being said, I was playing solo.  Was revisiting previous levels, looking for bosses to farm and items to grab, freaking magma worms are probably the worst boss for the Acrid to kill.  Especially when there's 5 of them.

It's going to be kind of hilarious if Robin Hood keeps dying every time you resurrect or reincarnate him.  He's a ranger and he's already died more than the gnome has (or just as much, I should keep better count).

Also, bwahahah, already I am profiteering!  Later on I might see if I can wrangle you into adding my name to a couple of extra buildings, as if the chain has expanded or something.  That is, if we don't get overrun by goblins or a random dragon first.

It's like embarking in an evil resurrecting biome, only with meteor storms and random withers showing up.  Could probably do to rush the healing temple, even though I don't think you can get Krolm after it.  But at this point I'd think it's almost worth it.

Also, I'm afraid I couldn't fit the whole name in for the blacksmith, so it's currently just "Karkov's Trinkets".  The name field can only accept a maximum of 20 characters.
Meh, no big loss.  I didn't remember the game ever giving you that big of a space for names, so I expected it probably wasn't going to fit.  Just couldn't remember the maximum character count.

Certainly, it'd be a pleasure.  The blacksmith is actually, interestingly enough, the one building that has taken the least amount of damage over the course of this whole thing.  I suspect you've been making shady deals with the goblin mafia.
I'm on a first name basis with their cousins, but the main reason I've been unmolested so far is because I've been sprinkling the ground with shiny bits to attract gnomes to settle between them and the shop.  Gnomes show up, goblins attack gnomes, goblins get beaten back by knights and put nice gold coins in the knight's pockets.  In the meanwhile, I sell new weapons and armor to the knights and the gnomes, and profiteer off of the new heroes showing up when the old ones die off.  I play all the sides!  Except the rats, hate those things.

Oh man, the nostalgia that's brought on by the main theme of this game. Aaaahhh, refreshing.  Anywho, instead of taking a hero, I'd be delighted to have the blacksmith renamed "Karkov's Metal Trinkets," if you can still rename buildings anyway.

Apparently winning the Desert Triad holds something valuable enough that someone's actively out to keep you from it.  "'Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action."

My latest death?  Fighting Ballos again, that smiling asshole is in dire need of his face getting rearranged.  Spamming the "wreck him!" button as fast as possible (blade level 2 is stroooong).   I actually got him down to less than 2% on his last phase and I bite the big one.  My hand was hurting too much after that and I had to take a break.

Is the swing-set bug in GTA5 still?
Not so much a swing-set, but there's an automatic sliding door that if you ram your car into just right, when it retracts you'll go flying.

The Hidden is invisible and can leap and sprint. But he can be seen by hunters as a shimmer, which lets them hit him if he's too slow. The Hidden has low health and only a melee attack, except for a very limited supply of grenades (I think 1?). He can regain health by chewing a corpse, but he can't get more than like 30% health from one corpse. The hunters have strong weapons but just getting hits is the problem.
25% from a corpse, grenades are dependent upon how many people are in the server.

EDIT:  I realized that was a little ambiguous, there's some formula for grenades to people, not sure what it is off the top of my head, but it's there.  So larger servers, I think I've seen up to three grenades?  I know two is definitely a thing.  I'll go check it out later.
