I dunno, people have always been shitty, it's why we have so many wars all the time.  We're just less shitty to people's faces unless we have that seething rage that makes you forget about the consequences.

It doesn't take that much to insult someone on the internet.  Poke some keys, fire and forget.  Disassociation would be the simplest term for it, I suppose.  People have always talked behind people's backs, it's just easier to do it to someone's face when there isn't physically a face there.

EDIT:  Also, most older folks are looking at things through red-tinted nostalgia glasses.  Almost everything seems better looking back at it from 20 years in the future.  "People were so much nicer."  "Dirt tasted better."  "Man it was fun driving through Death Valley without air-conditioning and a pair of siblings beating the crap out of each other in the back seat."

Why all the hype for a black president?  Why not an Asian president?

... Why can't I think of any Asians, male or female, that have a career in politics?

Freezing bread makes it keep for a long time. I usually have several loaves in the freezer so I don't have to go buy more bread every few days.

My father did this recently, threw an entire loaf of french bread (quasi-baguette) in there.  Did not realize how greasy that stuff is until I tried to eat some cold.

In news from the modding front, things are gettin' weird.

Augh!  Two hours of creating an awesome house down the drain because the Sims decided to crash after I put a wallpaper on to finish a room.  Dammit.

SOMEONE FUCKING CHLORINE GASSED A FURRY CON
I knew people were insensitive and uncaring, but do you think we could all just leave each other alone for a weekend, maybe?  Sheesh people, live and let live.

all the DLC
Pretty sure that's your problem
I could understand how that would bloat the file-size, but to 28 Gigs?  Dragon Age: Inquisiton wasn't even that large in file size but was freaking huge in game-play!

Oh well, just gotta wait out the 4 hour download, I suppose.  Luckily, I have Newgrounds audio portal.  Time to listen to crap from 2007 again.

Got it on Steam a while ago, along with all the DLC.  Hadn't really looked at the file size until now.

Why the hell is the Sims 3 a 28 GB download?!

Internet fame!  Bask in it!  Or something, I'm not exactly sure how fame works.

Oi! V doesn't have guns, either. My rotations are all either villains, masked men, or gunslingers.
Unhand that avatar, Death as the Hogfather is no villain!  Release that skeleton post-haste!

And if you don't want spoilers like behind that link, here's the basic short: Hogfather is a Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett, where the Father Christmas analogue (the Hogfather) vanishes.  Death takes over the job.  Hilarity ensues.

Whoops, forgot Wikipedia is zealous like that, I'll go find a synopsis and link to that instead.

Grats!  :D Do we get detaaaails? :3

Also, hugo what the christ is hogfather
Go buy a book and REEEAAD!!  Especially if you're going to steal Hugo's Avatar that comes directly from those books.  For shame, he doesn't even have guns!

EDIT:  Changed the link to a Barnes and Nobles product page.  Description is shorter and less filled with spoilers than Wikipedia.  Probably shadier, though.

Ah, what I wouldn't give to experience DS for the first time again. It really is best with no spoilers.

Truly, it is.

Good to hear you're having fun with the game Joshua, just wait until you get through the new area that opens up.  You want grandeur?  You're gonna get a heaping helping of it.
