o.o I didn't know that could happen.
How has this happened twice?

Also, yay, new fort time!

If they're wounded enough, their own babies would probably end up killing them. And they'll probably get at least some wounds each time they try to kill their own babies, so over time, wounds will stack up and the babies will win, and, if both of the initial stock are chained and you have some militiadwarves standing around to dispose of the remaining parent, you can probably breed enemy mounts.

It's above an ocean though, and DF doesn't model water's properties besides "it's normally soft", so if you give them both some swimmer training and some climbing training, you should have an acceptably minimized fatality rate.

Ballistae Bird Frogger sounds like an epic plan. So does Peregrine Dogfighting. Either one sounds like fun. Too bad you can't just flood the map edges.
Also:
Well I'm not sure. I only see stray peregrines hunting vermines like cats.
Wild buzzards will fight other birds, so I guess maybe it is possible.
This makes me think of peregrine falcons eating cats.

Happy belated comic anniversary!

So what's the explanation for the dual continuation? Timeline split, or were some (parts) of our dwarven mind parasites left behind?

352
Am I the only person who now wants to murder ghosts with ghost bone minecarts?

353
This is getting a little ridiculous. Are we now still going on with McClellan's attempt or are we going for Deathgate III?

I'd chose something a little less bright and more calm. Also, I would have changed the bedroom design by putting stairs on the edges of the design. If you build it in squares of that size and design, you won't run into mobility problems.

Get some green bedsheets and impersonate DorkierDaffofil's ghost! Haunt the fortress until they learn their lesson for killing him! And, you know, I bet nobody will try to stop a ghost from making the odd wheel of cheese.

-1. We don't want Misty to get made into a ghost bone sword.

I think that can be filed under Piece of Evidence #5437 for the fact that dwarves are idiots.

357
Surprisingly, none.

What size would that be?

Depends on the way "giant giant" is defined. Assuming 8x as fitting "giant" multiplier for an alligator, it could be
giant + giant -> 16x
giant x giant -> 64x
giant ^giant -> ~ 16Mio.x
giant ^^ giant -> x ~ way too many to express in a meaningful fashion
A (8,8) -> absurdly larger than the last
Okay, I know nothing about advanced mathematics (including that ^-stacking stuff), but what if it was g(8g(g))?

I just call it "The game where you can beat people to death with their own vomit". So far, I've managed to extract a promise from one person to play it.
