Ah yes, when a certain skeleton opened a portal to another dimension. Good times.
I actually miss him, his adventures were amusing (if dangerous on the world-scale) and provided a ton of info about the inner working of this reality.

((Also, added a count of posted actions for next turn into my Google Sheet. It might not be up to date every moment, but I'll try to keep it so. Currently, we miss Fluorine and Eron (for the third turn).))

Some notes for anyone interested:
- Defensive attributes - [Con], [Res] - are becoming more important to players as they raise in stage. As shown on Squira unfortunate example, Stat 0 gets full damage from powerful attack, Stat 1 - only a half. And Stat 2 - just one third.
- [Int] is a perfect dump stat for anyone who does not like psych warfare or strategy (might come to bite you back at high stages, though).
- [Ind] is not that important since it is used as opposed roll to [Int] instead of damage shaver. And you'll need quite a lot of [Ind] to counter a dedicated mind-user. Better just kill him quick by surprise.
- Choose between [Pow] and [Str] or ignore both - raising both is counterproductive, as you want your main offence to be as high as possible (without forgoing defence). [Pow] offers more skill variation, and is harder to counter, while [Str] is always with you and offers survival options even with low MP.
- Regeneration trait is less important then it was in the First game, but still desirable. HP depends on [Con], MP - on [Res] (not sure about latter).

As I write the turn, someone died. A few hours before the reveal!
Blood for the Dice! Skulls for RNG!

"Well, not exactly... Many thanks for reacting swiftly - this place holds so much knowledge that even my brain can't fully process it. As expected, I made a mistake, trying to decipher symbols like I do every time while finding unexpected details. But, compared to small clues and bits outside, here, every small detail holds a well of ancient information."

Ulkas smiled half-mockingly at his own carelessness.

"I'll try to hold myself back from now on, but be ready to stop me just in case. Let's move, I have a vague feeling something interesting might happen soon."

Avoid using Expansive mind (for now). Check four doors. If no clues arise or traps are seen - open doors and compare insides. If still nothing, choose a random one and proceed.

Ulkas chuckled while rubbing his temples with a clawed hand. In worst case, he could use paralyzing venom to soothe the pain somewhat, but for now, headache was a simple warning - and a needed one, indeed.

"Hah… It is almost funny. For one such as myself, this whole place serves as a devious trap intended for a curious mind… Astrosa, can I ask you for a favour? If I will get too immersed in studying various relics of the past - tear me from them if needed. I need to save focus for later use."

"And now, to descend into the abyss… I'll provide the platform with mana needed, and you should be ready."

Stand on the platform and use hard-earned knowledge to operate it. See if we can go further than one floor down. Be ready.

Spriggans are OP.
Very much so. Survived with one in Abyss up to tenth-something level (started as Abyssal Knight). It was a version where portals down did not generate at starting AK level, so it was rather pointless.

"First, but not the last trap..."

Use my intellect to solve oncoming deadly riddles. Or guess what exactly is happening.

As Beogh follower to Beogh follower, piece of advice: Elf:3 is PAINFUL!

1) Banished followers are gone forever
2) It is very hard to break up elvish horde on some layouts
3) Elves are surprisingly deadly even to young warlords, expect 40 to 80% casualties (in a successful run)

So, if you care for the horde you amassed - do not rush into fight. If you do not - Beoghites are quite good at clearing up Elf: 3 at the cost of nearly all followers.

P.S. Shoals and Spider Nest are quite tame for a follower run. Naga Pit is dangerous (mass venom) and Swamp is infuriating (mass drowning)

((40000 - You probably should not post full character profiles every turn. Status updates will be enough.
Btw, Astrosa status info still shows 29/29 MP instead of rightful 39/39.
And Theta is Stage 1, not Stage 0 already.))
((Aaah, I changed it in the Turn 1 but not in the Turn 2. Silly me. Thanks for noticing, changing that right now!

edit: where is the status typo? I can't find the 29))

"Entrance does not seem to be trapped, but we are sure to meet traps and much more as we descend deeper. I'm quite interested in what you have glimpsed, though, so let's move."

Let the Dungeon Crawl begin!
While on the way, check if someone explored these ruins recently.

"Ah, so that is the first landmark we should investigate. Certainly not the last, though... Heh, Astrosa, care to guess who chased humans out? My bet would be on lesser demons, although desert monsters and disturbed ruin guardians hold a close second place."

Ulkas felt quite cheerful, having great expectations on these ruins. Obviously, their search could yield no results here and in several places they visit up next, but something in him felt quite certain that this place can be a perfect start... If they play their cards right.

"Just in case, but do you see anything here?"

Start investigation. Double check for powerful enemies and dangerous traps. Analyze information about these ruins I gathered before.

((Astrosa should have 39/39 MP instead of 29.))

I'm getting closer and closer to the status of fragile annihilator cannon. Hehehe...
And that's not counting Astrosa  ::)

The last player is in :)
It's strange to be the last after I have held the title of oldest player still alive for a long time. Heh.
