Choose your character!

This is going to be an experimental RTD, based on the Super Smash Brothers games.

Specifically SSBB.

To join, say you want to here, PM me your character(Along with the colour), and said character can be from any of the Smash Bros. games, mind you, and we'll have four fights with three characters in each, and the victor in each will be part of the main cast for the Subspace Emissary-like journey that follows. I'll post the song currently playing as well, to add some atmosphere. The first fights will be anonymous

Only moves that can be used by the character can be used here, but items will be scattered along the way.

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything...

Attention, Brawlers! The first fight begins now! You three, Blue Snake, Dark Link, and Black Marth will be fighting to the death for a chance to go on a bountiful quest for our king, Miyamoto. Only four shall go, and one of you will be one of them.

The three fighters for the first round will PM their actions to me, keeping the fight anonymous. Starting....now!

And the first round is underway! This round will be taking place on Shadow Moses island, folks. One of today's competitors is actually quite familiar with these surroundings. In fact, he knows exactly when the-

Set a mine (down+B, not smash down), lure them over it. Then detonate it.

[6] Snake seems to be placing a mine, Jeff. He's even covering it with some convenient rubble to hide it.Wait. Where is it? I can't even see it now!
And it doesn't look like Snake does either. We'll have to see how this pans out.

Space out the opponents with F-air and D-tilt, use dancing blade as a followup should I get the hit.

[5] Now it looks like Marth has started to fight, and it seems like he's doing a few sword tricks.
Whatever it is, it's working. Snake seems to have jumped back ONTO the mine he placed! Oooh. That's gotta hurt. Snake seems to be up to 17% damage, and he looks a bit dazed from the blast.
And it seems Link is...just backing away. Wait, is he holding a bomb!?
This will definitely get interesting, folks.

Kite anyone who attacks me with bombs.

[1] Let's go over to Link to see what he's doing with that bomb.
I don't know, Jeff. It looks to me like he's holding on awfully long. Wait! He's tossing it at Marth!
...Which seems to have been a very bad move, as Marth's sword has knocked the bomb BACK AT Link.
There's the explosion....
And there's Link's head catching fire. He's taken a lot of damage from that, 28% and climbing from that blazing cap of his.
Yes, he really needs to do something about that hat. It always just gets in the way. Like Capes. Do Superheroes even need them?
The announcers trail off into their own conversation while waiting for the action.

Let's take a look back at the action.
Before we do that, though, a new round is starting as well.
I see that. It seems that Donkey Kong, Fox, and Pikachu are starting up their fight on Final Destination.

You are right, but for now, let's see how Snake is doing.

Side-A, go for the mushroom. Use the smash up (mortar), follow up with side-b.

[1] It seems like Snake is trying to avoid fighting for the moment.
WAIT! WAIT! I think he's going for the mushroom. I wonder what kind it-Well that answers my question.
Snake's going to have a hard time fighting in his tiny state, especially now that he's trying to use that mortar in such a tiny state.
So far, the mortar's going away from him...and he rolled into it.
That man is extremely unlucky today.

Grab the home run bat and swing it at anyone who comes after me. Inform Snake that his down special is known as C4.

[5] However, it looks like Marth is having extremely GOOD luck today.
I see that. He's going for the Bat, but he'll have to dodge the wild swings from Link to get to it.
[6 Vs. 4] But Marth is pretty agile, and he's going in quickly. He's grabbed the bat and...I seriously just cringed there.
No-one wants to be hit there. Link is definitely in a LOT of pain right now, even with the fire burning out. He won't be getting up too soon.

Put out fire, spin anyone who goes for the bat.

[3] Let's look at that again.
From here it looks like Link was able to hit the flame enough to have it burn out on its own, but soon saw the Bat.
It doesn't even look like he wanted it, just not wanting anyone ELSE to have it. Those swings take a lot of force to make, but they seemed very easy coming from a Master Swordsman!
...I hate you.

AAND we're back with the Tournament today, and a new round is currently starting, between Donkey Kong, Fox, and Pikachu.

Action: Get in the middle of the stage and spam Down+B! Spam it like a incredibly spammy spambot what has been fed on spam garnished with spam sauce!

[3]  It looks like DK is going to take advantage of the flat platform and begin spamming the floor.
I doesn't look like it'll help, though, as Fox looks angry, coming in from the side with a dropkick, and [4 Vs. 2] Whacking DK in the head!
It looks like Fox took a bit of damage from the risky attack, but nothing too severe.

Attack the nearest opponent with a sneaky dropkick. Attempt to use reflector shield on any projectiles sent my way.

[5] That wen't by a bit too quickly for me. I want to see that again.
The thing is with DK's ground slam is that it leaves one side of him vulnerable, and Fox took full advantage of that.
Yes, DK took a good amount of damage from that kick, but is really just angry now.

Ai yai yai. A slow power hitter and a fast agile fighter.

Jump, dodging attacks whilst hitting with mid-air counters. If caught inbetween, then it's smash down a (Twirling with sparks. )

[5] Wait! It looks like Pikachu is making a move! He's...jumping.
But he's jumping at Fox!
Fox definitely is seeing this, and from here, it looks like he's warming up his reflector.
He's Releasing it aand...
[6 Vs. 6] Pikachu stops right in front of the reflector.
Huh. Well, that was uneve-
[5] BZZT!
I didn't know fur was that flammable.

Anyway, let's move back over to the first round, where things are REALLY starting to heat up!

Take a home run swing at Dark Link and aim for the KO.

Flee! Spin anyone who tries to attack me.

[3 Vs. 4] Marth is going to try and get an early KO on Link, but it looks like Link will have nothing of that!
That sword of his has sent the bat flying, and I'm not sure where it will land.
I think I have a good idea where it's going...

Just use the shield until back to normal size.

[3-1] And I was right. That shield did NOT help, but at least he's back to normal size.
Yes, and the bat is STILL on the field, but it's fading fast. If anyone wants to use it, they'd better pick it up quickly.

AAAND we're back after an overly long break, so let's look at our currently ongoing match

Grab the bat!

Damn those rolls.

Grab bat, throw at Marth. Launch a rocket to follow up.

It looks like there's a bit of a scuffle over the bat, here.
Yes, both Snake and Link are seizing the opportunity, and
[4 Vs. 2] Link has gotten the bat!
...
...
And Link has chosen to do nothing with the bat!
Snake has taken advantage of THIS situation to knock it out of Link's hands and pick it up himself!
He's tossing it at Marth, and [6 Vs. 1] It's a direct hit!
Marth took a LOT of damage from that, but thankfully the wall will break his...

AAND we're down to TWO!

Play defensively and F-smash anyone who tries to hit me.

Last time I checked, that wall was intact.
[2] Well, if we look closely, we'll see that Marth destroyed the wall HIMSELF!
Why would he do something like that!?
My only guess is that he thought the wall was Snake in disguise or something.
Either way, we're down to two in this match, so now we go over to the other Final Destination one!

Use Up+B to get out of dodge, retreating to the edge of the level and smash-attacking anyone who gets close!

I see DK is firing up his...arms.
Yes, well, not for long, as he's now grabbing onto the edge of the stage.
Well, at least he didn't get eliminated this early.

Attempt to put myself out and throw any items I can get my hands on at pikachu!

[5] Fox seems to be the first to spot the new items, and has enabled both the Metal Box AND the fire flower.
[1 Vs. 2]But...Why did he throw it?
I dunno, seeing as Pikachu and DK were in the other direction.

Continue attacking in the air the same as before. If in trouble, hit out with Thunder. If someone gets too high, aim to hit them with Thunder to put them out early.

[2] Well, it doesn't look like fox is in a lot of danger, seeing as the Yellow Rat is just jumping up and down now.
That reminds me, I need to renew my gym membership.

Use this distraction to my advantage. Rather than attack the ball, keep away from the opponants until they're near the ball and then Thunder them, or something similarly powerful.

[5] NOW I SEE WHERE THE PRIMATE CAUGHT ALIGHT. THE ASTRONAUT SEEMS TO HAVE ACQUIRED A FLAME-EMITTING ANTHROMORPHIC BOTANICAL FIGURE, AND USED IT TO HIS ADVANTAGE. OH, IT ALSO SEEMS THAT HE HAS BROKEN OUR PATENTED SMASH BALL. THE RAT NOW SEEMS VERY INTERESTED IN THIS GLOWING CHARACTER.

OH. WE HAVE A NEW ROUND BEGINNING. LET'S SEE WHERE IT IS.
