Had to take another stab at an evil embark...

This time it's raining "nauseating mucus" that seems to cause a slight fever at first and after that, it' bruises and blindness for everybody! \o/. (Not sure if blindness is caused by bruised eyes.)

I believe we've got a new theme tune.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

Apparently Super-Rot is not a big deal, since the dwarves survive fine and they don't move any slower.

The constant miasma generation inside the base is a tad bothersome. though

My goblin blood causes syndromes! Half my map rains pungent ooze that causes mild bleeding the other half rains goblin blood. The ones who stand in goblin blood get covered in "Infernal Gloom" start vomitting and pass out from pain.

If they don't get medical treatment the super rot will kill them eventually.

Aren't your dwarves BLIND by now?

alright, embarked, horsey became a thrall, and kicked every dwarf in the lower body (among other places) at least once before being put down by an axe.
I bet my dorfs are gonna be pissing blood for a while.

Actually if they touched a thrall I don't think you'll need to worry about planning that far in the future.

Dwarves don't actually use their eyes, they feel around with their beards to determine what's going on around them. Seriously though it doesn't prevent them from doing anything except running from the enemy.

I don't know if anyone's got a fort established enough to find out, but are dwarves in full armour protected from rain/fog? I know in older versions it protects them from puddles of extracts on the floor, but I don't know about the new threats...

If so, DWARVEN RADIATION SUITS!

Haven't tested it personally, but I've read that clothing and armor do not protect against the rain.

Well, you don't need to worry about military when the environment provides all the protection you'll ever need.

I have an idea for a challenge: Use evil rain as a weapon...in the caverns. May require channeling.

"It is raining bitter ooze."

Thank you, Dwarves, for not realising this rain caused EXTREME PAIN and UNCONSCIOUSNESS, and hanging around beside the wagon. I hope you all die of thirst because you are unable to clean yourselves.

You should try to keep them from cleaning themselves. While their coated in the stuff the syndrome won't start again, it's like a vaccination. As soon as they wash it off they're susceptible again.
