I like this, especially when said books are bound with FIRE. How they do that, I have no idea.

I used a sword for a bit, but eventually just put the stupid thing away and caved in skulls with a turquoise-bound book about some town I don't care about. Then I found a goshenite-bound book in my bag and so am now dual-wielding literature.

ON THE ONE HAND: I am playing a vampire. ON THE OTHER: All this carnage is with Novice thrower and Dabbling Misc. Object. I think it balances out.

@Xantalos:

...Wait, books bound with fire? That happens?

Pix. NOW. ANYONE. I don't care. I must see this.

Dwarf Chocolate. How would I provide pics? Might take a bit, but I'll try to find one.

Alt + Print Screen, paste into Paint, upload to Internets, amuse Froggy briefly.

!E: Oh, is this an intentional part of some mod? That's not as fun :( It was better when I thought it was just the material picker thing being screwy.

Rifles are the best.
"The flying musket ball hits the goblin swordsman in the left upper leg, tearing the muscle and shattering the bone!"
"The goblin swordsman gives in to pain!"
"You stab the goblin swordsman in the head with the bayonette of your rifle, tearing the muscle, fracturing the skull, jamming the skull through the brain and tearin the brain!"
"Goblin swordsman has been struck down!"

Crossbows are more retro.

The best weapon is a mouth. No sword, whip or handful of liquid can measure up to the glory that is biting a Bogeyman in its head and shake its head off, and then spitting it so hard at the next night creature's head that it too dies.
