New version name?

So, I have seen some people calling it DFVD, or Dwarf Fortress Valentine's Day, and some people calling it DF2012. Personally I like DFVD. What do you guys think?

Since only .01 actually came out on Valentine's Day, "DFVD" won't actually make any sense once we have version .02. I say either use the version number or call it DF2012.

I vote for "DF2012".
Calling 0.31.xx versions "DF2010" worked pretty well.

DF2012 seems to be what people are migrating to.  Version numbers are great for remembering exactly which release had what, but lousy for dropping into a sentence.

40d/DF2010/DF2012 seems like a good enough convention to me to refer to the last few major releases.

I don't like DFVD at all.
1. Valentine's Day is not something so notable to be worth naming DF with it. It happens and will happen every year.
2. DF being released in Valentine's Day is not very significant, Toady could easily release it several days earlier or later if he chose to.

DF2012 all the way. Even if we will have more big releases this year, they will probably still be 0.34.XX so naming them all DF2012 sounds good. The same way DF2010 refers to all 0.31.XX not just 0.31.01 (which was so full of bugs it was barely playable).

That not right, all the releases between .31.19 and .31.25 where in 2011.
For me it's DFVD, it has a background (even if it's "ridiculous") and not as boring as DF2012. Everybody could guess from this name which version it is, way to easy...

I prefer DF2012. DFVD could be any year. It'll be confusing for our grandchildren.
