34.04 Worldgen Issues - Necromunda Mod
« on: March 01, 2012, 12:38:10 am »

I'm trying to port the mod over to the latest version of DF. Got the errorlog.txt issues all resolved but now I cant gen a world. After it has finished placing civilizations it rejects the world without doing any history. No errorlog entries at all

here is the player civ (without nobles)

And here are the worldgen parameters. I'm using a Perfectworld output for the mesh placements, and I've disabled all the NFS(new fun stuff) like vamps and werecreatures.

HEEELP! :(

did some more testing. Different worldgen and entity files make no difference to the problem.

If you feel like taking a crack at this Ive uploaded the whole thing here

Is there a way to have DF log the worldgen processes?

fixed this issue.

For everyone else who comes up with this problem, if your city uses [DEFAULT_SITE_TYPE:CITY] and you dont have any plants that have edible [BASIC_MAT], your worlds will not generate.

Thus because none of our plants are directly [EDIBLE_RAW] or [EDIBLE_COOKED], farming cannot take place
