Suspended channel construction?
« on: August 13, 2006, 01:11:00 pm »

My miners decided to suspend construction of a channel, supposedly because they couldn't reach it (not technically true, but it was in a tight tunnel with no room to maneuver around it, which might have caused it). Is there any way to un-suspend it? The building tasks menu for the channel just gives me options to assign the channel or change it into a pond; no options to un-suspend (possibly because the suspended segments are connected to finished channel segments).

Make sure the cursor is "exactly" over the unfinished part of the channel.

Also, you might have to do it from [t].  [q] tends to lump the channel into one large unit (since pond water would flow around between them).

It is, and there's no difference. I think the problem is that it links channels up, so regardless of where I put the cursor the ENTIRE channel gets selected.

Oh, nevermind. I hadn't realized [t] worked for building orders too--that works. Thank you!
