I'm interested in this! Been waiting a while for a new league to begin. Not sure what I'd like to play, perhaps skaven? Perhaps norse?

I'll probably play Dark Elves since they are the team I have most experience with and I really like them.

There will still be at least a few weeks until the season will begin for those who want to move a training league team into it. If there are any other returning members that would like to play in the next season, make sure to post in the forum so I know to pencil you in. Also if anyone wants to add a team into the training league make sure to say that so we know if we have enough players for a legitimate league!

Monk's Mountebanks the Skaven squad stands ready to play in the Training Tournament, if we have enough players to support such a thing. If not, they'll play in the Main League in lieu of the Morons.

Speaking of the Training League, any progress to report there?

I'm advancing the league tomorrow afternoon/night. I was going to have it advanced last week on tuesday but my internet did not permit me to do anything on bloodbowl as I was on vacation and it was awful, xD

The training league has been advanced into its final week this week's matchups are:

Monk's Morons v Real Deal
Slashing Slayers v The Daemoning!
Ill-timed Boners v Rodantors

Every game has playoff implications with Real Deal looking to pass up Slashing Slayers and the Slayers looking to remain atop the league going into the playoffs. The Daemoning! just have to manage a tie and they will secure their spot in the playoffs. Monk's Morons need a victory to secure their spot, and the Ill-timed Boners are hoping for a win to go along with a loss by the Moron's in order to squeeze into the playoffs. The Rodantors unfortunately cannot make it into the playoffs but should they play well they will be able to ensure the removal of the Ill-Timed boners from the play-offs. Hey, just an FYI for any new members of the main or training league for next season. If you have a steam account, let us know here by posting your name and join the B12 Bloodbowl group on steam to help make scheduling and whatnot easier if you'd like. The main league will hopefully be starting before the end of the month!

I just finished making my team but couldn't find a league to join. Bay12 League sounded like the right one, but it was shown as 6/6 (so it's full?). Should I just apply for that or am I missing something?

It is full, but you can change the number of players in between seasons. I don't know if you can apply to a full league, but try it. If you can get your team applied, then you're all set -- Slaya will accept/adjust the player totals/etc when it's time.

3: 0 games played, any other option is... nonsensical and open to abuse. If the main league has more than one group (it usually doesn't) then I'd be fine with sorting them by TV.

I'll adjust the league total to make sure you can apply. Also, no worries about not applying and joining the steam group yet since the season won't be starting for at least another week probably closer to two more weeks when the training league has finished. On the topic of the training league, I will be advancing the league forward on WEDNESDAY night unless all the games are finished before then or you contact me with a set time for a game after that date that had to be played then due to scheduling issues.

Just a few quick questions for everyone who will be involved in either of our leagues next season:

1. As far as timetables go, would you all prefer the league to be a "game a week" or a "game every other week" league? (I personally prefer a game a week but I know some people have busier lives than I do and might prefer to play more casually)
2. Do you want to bring back unique races? (As of right now I don't believe this is an issue as most of our races are unique so we aren't fighting bloody dwarves week in and week out)
3. If we have a training league do we still want to keep it for new teams only, and if we do allow experienced teams in, what should the TV limit be for the start of the season? (until/unless we get at least a few more teams /coaches that want to join us I think that keeping the training league for new teams only is a good idea as it helps to keep new teams from being forced up against scary killer teams like Kanil's danged rats and allows them to build up at least some semblance of a defense)

1. Game a week would be preferred but I can live with a slower game if people are busy.
2. I don't mind duplicates, but if the game has over 20 races to pick I'd be a bit miffed to only play against a tiny subset of them. If we're to have a hard rule on it, I'd prefer a max of two per team. That still leaves 8 elf and 4 dwarf teams for people to pick if they really insist.
