If you play halflings, you will likely lose almost all of your games unless you know what you're doing. If you are at all not experienced with Blood Bowl, then I'd suggest you pick another team. Of course, if you're fine with losing over and over, then don't let me stop you from doing what you want, but don't expect to win much.

Yes, it's no problem...  Losing is Fun!  My team is "The Forked Pies", my id is dave1781, and my timezone is GMT+9 which is not too bad to play with eurozone players (their evening = my morning) and on the right day any time should be OK.

Is two conferences, 7 teams each, play within conference twice for 12 games, four teams from each conference, possible? I've always had a preference for being able to face a team more than once over a season...

You can't have 7 players without having a bye. The 7th guy doesn't have anyone to play that week. Cyanide will not let you have groups of odd numbers of players.

Also, something to consider for everyone starting a new team: You can adjust your starting lineup freely until your team has played it's first game, and I'd think some of you might want to. If you're not sure what to get, consider visiting BBtactics, you'll find some interesting information on possible starting lineups. If you browse the website further, you'll also find some interesting information on player development. Starting with a good base, and picking good skills will make your life a lot easier, so I'd recommend looking around if you have some free time. It'll probably result in you winning more games.
