So yeah, Caves of Qud is a post-apocalyptic rogue-like that has a interesting setting and cool mechanics.

Anyways, on to making the character.

And now for something that actually matters, mutated or not?
True Humans have better gear and stats and Mutants have mutations(as their name suggests) and are in general way more awesome.

Okay, so now we're going to want to set up the attributes

Strength affects melee damage, knockback resistance & carry weight.
Agility affects accuracy & dodge chance.
Toughness affects amount of HP, HP regeneration & ability to resist poisons and diseases.
Intelligence affects amount of skill points given & ability to identify artifacts.
Willpower affects mental mutation cooldown rate, HP regeneration & ability to resist mental attacks.
Ego affects power of mental mutations & prices at shops.

Keep in mind that a score of 16 points is average for attributes & that scores past 18 require 2 points to increase.
Feel free to ask questions if that was at all unclear.
