Dwarf's Body
« on: March 11, 2012, 01:56:21 pm »

One of my dwarves went insane and now it's body is sitting in a closed off room

The miasma isn't spreading because it's walled in, so is ok to just leave the body?

Well you'll get unhappy dwarves who want their friend buried, plus if you leave it, you may get a ghost.

You can just leave it if you want, and place a slab. As long as no one sees the corpse rotting, no bad thoughts'll be generated

Don't worry, it's a problem we all have to face sooner or later...
...As long as no one sees the corpse rotting, no bad thoughts'll be generated
Are you sure are about that?
Atom smashing cats used to generate 2 bad thoughts: "lost a pet" and "had to endure decay", if I remember correctly. Or did it change with the whole "MIA" update?

Build a grid of floor grates above the entire city. Draft a squadron of masons and bomb the crap out of the city with falling constructed walls.

Well I don't know about atom smashing, but in .31 my Dwarfs would get the "has lost x to tragedy", and if they saw the corpse rotting, the decay thought
