Just because it's Lovecraft doesn't mean there's going to be a Necronomicon. It just means there are lovecraftian creatures running around and it has lovecraftian themes in it.

The colony ship was suppose to be a veritable garden of eden, a biodome in space, a getaway for the rich and poor alike.. but then the maguffin device died leaving the land dry and barren the resorts and towns were abandoned now it's a haven for bandits, smugglers, and other vagabonds, either hiding out from the law, or because they were stuck there and had to make do in the harsh climate.

Just a thought.

It's like steampunk horror, in a nutshell.

Or it could become a huge ass floating City of Adventure

How does Lovecratian horrors come into play there at all, I thought that was kinda gonna be the theme?

Also Lovecraft does not mesh withe City of Adventure, at all.

Yes cause we have too many western games, and not enough ones based on lovecraftian themes on these forums. /sarcasm

Deck 114- A series of pipes that can either be ascended vertically or walked horizontally. Much like a maze people usually get lost in here who don't either have a map or a great knowledge of where they are going. Very dangerous, as most of the pipes are rusty, and easy to slip from, with only ladders going in between the levels of pipe pathways, it is only illuminated by red light and oftne not even, There is only trickles of water and no food here, coolent, chemicals, electrical wires, and burning steam can be found here and not seen. Platforms are rare and small but they do exist. The place was dangerous before the creatures arrived but now it is absolute hell. Despite all of these dangers Deck 114 is rumored to hold a haven. A haven from what, however, would only be hearsay.

Alright Character time.

Fahim Nahnijaad

Male

A veterinarian by trade, Fahim spent most of his time dealing with the mut offspring of the original cats or dogs brought onto the ship. Fahim is a father of one child and his wife died in child birth as her hips were extremely narrow and the son almost died too. Fahim has never touched a gun in his life, being a pacifist (or atleast he was before the event). Since he is the closest thing to a xenobiologist handy, he is the go to guy on what exactly the creatures are. His son was lost in the chaos of a riot.

It seems to be quite a popular theme, but most games using it tend to follow mythos too rigidly and fall apart quickly, leaving us with little top notch lovecraft games.  So it seems like ther're a lot, but in reality there aren't.

I checked.. I found one game on page 5, it was both western and cthulhu.. the irony.

It seems people want a lovecraftian game not a western. I mean it got 8 votes and you seem to be the only one defending a western, King.

He called it a western in his first post!  I left off HOW the world got barren, who says that wasn't like some deep (space) ones.
