Some say Boatmurdered was ruined, all traces of it distroyed by it's final inhabitants. Most wished to think that the horror ended when it's last sane inhabitant left, leaving a broken city to rot for good. Hah, to think that this universe would be merciful ...
Fools, such primal bloodshed and carnal slaughter is of the sort that sends ripples across time and space, causeing dark things to form in the bowls of other worlds, other planes of existance. Some places were sieged by the infernal spawn of one of the dead of that place, ending that orignal, cursed realm for good.
Yet, that is only the beginning. In that sin-scaped lands death-throws, the souls of the infernal Elephants merged with those of the shrieking dwarven souls, and this blob of discord and self-hatred passed thru many worlds, many lands, until the chimeraic abomination of souls and sin merged within a new world, with new, impotent gods ignorant of the thing's history paying no heed to the newcomer as it slipped within the dark bowls of this new world to grow, a flabby, tumorus thing that nursed itself on magma and primorial ooze.
And as such, Gedor, for that was the thing it called itself, slowly formed a crude body, with the form of a humanoid yet with fectures betraying it's hellish origins. It's single eye was all it needed, for one only needs to see slaughter from one point of view. It decided to support the act of thievery and all its forms, from that of stealing joy to peace on this world. Bloated on self-worth and on the flesh of the dead, it slowly made it's way out of the underworld to the surface.
As it rose from the blackest pits in the beginning of time, it was already preparing to share it's self-hatred and anger at all things. It unofficaly led goblinkind, for they died the fastest on the field against dwarves. It ruined citys, toppleing empires with a single swipe of it's bloody trunk and threw thousands apon its tusks.
And that is the tale, boys and girls, of Gedor Puzzlesneak the Knot of Hexes. Now run along now, before the boogiemen get yah!
