So I'm running my fort, summer is drawing to a close, and I get this announcement:

An elven diplomat from Quamunmong has arrived.

What the hell?!  I haven't run fixdiplomats from DFHack, I'm building a megaproject out of soap and I do not need tree quotas.  What is that doing on my map?

Then I check the civ screen and note that Quamunmong is the local human civilization.  Why are they sending an elf to negotiate with me?  Don't they know elves put the ass in ambassador?

But it appears she knows her manners, at least:



Who says you can't train an elf?   :P
