Is it wrong that i thought that a ftl computer had been developed and you were tallking about running df on it?

I have finally done the experiment for bit copying. The result is negative: It is possible two water tiles into magma without obsidian blocking the second water tile. However, I had too much !!!FUN!!! doing the experiment the first time and I can't repeat it. Further testing is warranted.
