Any chance for taken Draconequines?

Why make a Draconequus a mere taken when it can be so much more?  ;)

You probable already changed and fixed it, but um...
The joints with [STANCE]. It looks great on paper, but then ponies put a shoe on each joint (doesn't matter that it's anatomically impossibe and the part is [INTERNAL]).

Oh dear...that's unfortunate. :o

Testing reveals that it's associated with the [STANCE] token, so I've gone ahead and removed it for all joint bodyparts at the present time. Both versions have been updated accordingly.

As for the Taken...the consequences of exposure to most forms of darkness vary depending on the the victim, though most sentient beings will only turn into the mindless variants.

Version 0.93 beta has been released with some additions and adjustments.

New Alicorn: Avatar of Eos, Goddess of the Dawn
     Alicorn-Tier Spell: Restoration

New Adept-Tier spells: Torment, Affliction, and Implosion.

Taken Ponies now have natural skills in bucking, kicking, and biting, increasing their deadliness.

Taken Griffons will now assault your fortress in terrifying areas. Their size, flight, and teleflanker/assault variants pose a much more considerable threat than the average Taken.

Additional Taken added to the Dark Place.

Revamp of the Light Combat System.

Updated to DF 34.07 for version 0.94 beta with some bugfixes. My apologies for the frequent updates...this one should make the mod pretty stable to play.

Removed [IMMOLATE] from sentry torches after one of them set my embark on fire.

Reduced holding duration of ordinary torches to 2 months. Flares are 1 month. Increased torch combat duration.

Your citizens will only use light attacks against Taken and other undead enemies, not random goblin #137.

Turn Undead has been fixed.

Unicorns above Novice-tier are now able to fire spells while fleeing pursuit. Adept and Master sorcerers will now suffer temporary exhaustion after using high-tier spells (This also applies to use of high-tier weather abilities for pegasii).

Skylords and Weather Masters will now use Sonic Rainboom to flee attackers, and have had their speed increased.

Temporarily disabled whirlwind due to excess chaos caused by undirected dust.

Updated for v3 of the Jolly Bastion Tileset for 34.07. Now includes both 9x12 and 12x12 sets.

Files to be replaced in saved games are:
plant_standard (in raws)
plant_carrot_celery (in raws)
jolly12x12 (in art)

Also removed the necessity of a carpenter's hammer for the plywood workshop in building_crafting.

Sorry if i am simply have the mental ability of a sober dorf cheesemaker (which is probably the case), but i can't seem to find the download link. Are you sure you included it when you update the op? Edit: Apparently i do have the mental ability of a sober dorf cheesemaker, as i later found the proper thread. Sorry for my utter incompetence.

On another, debatable more useful note, perhaps you could add a unicorn spell next update to the conjuration school of magic:
"Blinding Light"
a spell that blasts a cone of light, like dragon fire but instant, at a group of targets. Any target caught in the blast is either blinded for a short while (Depending on the skill level, the length of blindness could be longer), made dizzy for a short while (again dependent on skill level, this would be the most common result of novices), or be completely unaffected. Against the Taken, this spell would act like a torch, potentially destroying weaker taken, and weakening the stronger taken. Perhaps those that spend many years practicing this spell could master it. Those that master it might even be able to destroy the strongest of taken. Of course friendly fire is an issue, which is why i also suggest tinted visors to be added as well. Basically they are sunglasses. None of the advantages of a helmet, but completely negates the blinding and dizziness inducing effects of blinding light. The could be made at a glassmaker furnace with 1 glass, and maybe 1 bar of ash for tinting, though any dye might also be preferable. Just about every civ should be able to make and use these, excluding the Taken (assuming they count as a civ). With these two things, it becomes very preferable to bring at least 1 skilled unicorn in every squad used to fight off the Taken.
