Memetic?
There already IS an SCP with perfect memory effects.

I find mnestics really weird - it's not a real word, and I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to represent outside of amnestics.

A meme is an idea that spreads as specific knowledge of it does. 'Memetic' is an adjective for such a thing. While the mnestic/mnemonic could be memetic, it alone doesn't help the memory stay after a CK event. (I imagine; this is fiction, after all.)

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the opposite of an amnestic. An amnestic makes people forget things, so naturally a mnestic/mnemonic would make people remember things.

Yes, but a memetic that makes perfect memory a thing is a thing.

Mnestics are from qntm's "antimemetics" canon. They're the opposite of amnestics; rather than making you forget, they force you to remember, even through antimemetic effects most simply exemplified by SCP-055.

Please, please, please, tell me it's still alive. I've never wanted any mod as much as this one.

I did a dumb with this mod, mostly. 0.42 made unit spawning funnier due to loyalties. If I can get guaranteed hostility, it might continue development.

This is an awesome idea! I've been looking for a mod with lots of HFS for a new succession fort and this one fits it perfectly. I would really like to run a succession fortress off the 40.24 version you have up for download, is that OK with you? Considering you made this mod with succession in mind I am assuming you would be fine with it but I don't want to run your idea without your permission. Has there been a succession fort based off this already? I didn't see one in with the active succession forts.

i literally cannot see how you can ruin any idea of mine lol so do whatever

really the problem is that it's incomplete (thus 0.1.0)

I'll do some testing first to make sure it's usable and as long as it doesn't break it should be good enough to suit my needs of extra HFS .

Oh, jeez, yeah, I reworked it to be less about HFS and more about making a new containment site. Like, SCPs only show up if you request them.

I saw that but I was thinking each turn you would have to request a new SCP and contain it (with only what they can find on google as information about the SCP they just imported). After a while the fort becomes a ticking time bomb just waiting for someone to pull the wrong lever. I am not actually sure how well that would work with this mod though. I will need to do some testing to find out how everything works.

That'd probably be the ideal succession plan.

I just ran a fortress with your mod. I got about a year before I offered to contain SCP-173... I thought it would show up in a caravan or something... It showed up right next to my trading depot. Needless to say the experience was quite possibly the most !!FUN!! I've had in DF to date.

I do see what you meant about it not being done. There is only four SCP's and only one of them is dangerous (I think). Is there an older version with more SCP's? I looked though the thread and couldn't find it.
