Map compressor / map archive
« on: March 28, 2012, 01:32:19 pm »

I already made an earlier topic on this, but it got zero replies.
So, again: it seems that 34.05 broke compatibility with DF map compressor. When I export local images from the game, no matter how many z-levels, creating a .fdf file does only form a file with one z-level in it. No difference when switching the option "do not try to identify tiles".
Is Markavian still maintaining the map archive? I sent a message on the map archive site last week, but got no response there either. It would be a shame to lose one of the greatest tools for showing your fortress. It still worked fine in version 34.04.

Anybody else having this problem, or is it just my current fortress map that somehow does not want to be compressed to a .fdf?
