IN case it wasn't clear, the ten units is the same Material as the one you listed earlier.
Admantine Miner= ten units of Admantine, etc.

 You enjoy taking on an 'avian' form, although most people just stare at you when you do that.
Sadly, you are not a robot, because punched cards and/or vacuum tubes do not work that way.

Today is a fine day for some mining! You have ten lovely units of redstone! Sadly, you lack true Metal. Supposedly, there are deposits of Iron, Copper and Tin around here as well... In any event, what on earth are you going to do?

Wait, we have one mineshaft in our inventory?

Anyway, equip everything mining related, including clothes, and mine for redstone. Eff those other metals, you should just mine the red, lustrous dust of the underdark caverns...

Ye cannot Get Coal! There is no coal!
Besides, you can go up to Starta to get things smelted.

Go and smelt ye ores of various types, then go back down and mine more ores, and maybe some stone, stone is sometimes useful.

Note: you didn't put the 2 iron ore in the OP. Just letting you know.
