Stock market appears to be disabled, too.

I picked "futile" difficulty.  Anyone wanna give me a job?

Wait, this is the game that make you want to try every single industry. I loved that game ! Count me in.

Unsure about the difficulty though. You should have just set everyone to start on normal diff (intermediary) imo. Easy give you too much money, but you kinda feel like at disadvantage by going intermediary (still my choice).

go easy. the game is very hard at the moment because you have to build your own whole chain of everything, so you start with small industries, get little scaling bonus and running costs eat you alive

Already started with intermediary :( . I would restart, but i'm not sure the feature works right now ? Since the restart mode is from the old game, meaning 1 million loan (which would be a huge setback) and some techs.

restart slaps you with one million in debt, instead of one million for free. doesn't change much, I've 80k fixed cost of which debt is just 9k

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

and yes fixed costs are basically killing me. I've  150m^2 of electricity and water production to feed a 50m^2 field, out of liquidity already and losing money each day.

Never played the previous version of this. Seems only food industry available looking through the tabs? Is that all there is or just whats active currently, or am I missing something.

Edit:
I see theres a couple of other things now, gasoline, napkins, paper towels etc, but mostly food overal.
Looks quite challenging either way to set up some of these goods, almost nothing for sale on the market currently.

quality equations seems completely broken. only the last step in production is taken into account.

(do you accept pull requests? where's the code now, still on github forked?)

What do you mean Quality Equations?  What seems broken about it?
Yes you can still find the original coding on github : https://github.com/yisyang/eos.

Yes, I agree that it will be completely difficult to do and manage everything on your own at first.
I am playing along as well with

BetterMember Power (Having trouble as well maintaining a profit)

My BetterMember LLC company is where I will do much of my testing.

Yes, you're correct mostly food.  Farming and Agriculture seemed like good starting points and begin building from there since the DATABASE SQL on github didn't offer any kind of products,  just a blank database which left me with quite a few missing variables and blanks to fill in or re-write.

Open to suggestions : This community is some of my main testers so your opinions matter to since most of you had played the original.

sorry I did a real shit job of explaining the issue

so, in the original, you had quality 5 water, quality 3 berry research, quality zero power, you'd get around 2.7 or something berries. at each step of production quality was averaged. seems here that it only takes minimum quality for the output, so that having, say, 11q chicken produces 0q chickens if eggs are q0

edit: so basically this, it's a data issue more than a game issue:

everything is configured with no mix in quality value

Ok, I've done a few more configurations on R&D and the quality Variable sets.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

WoW!!!  Never buying any of those!

LoL

A variable I messed up when fixing qualities.  Should be corrected soon.
