I seriously wish I could do this in fort mode with the goblins. Or impale the heads in pikes. He also should add those cages with spikes mmm. Still much to add to the game. Just think of the view as you enter the fort.

"Urist mcwoodcutter has resently enjoyed a well hung goblin corpse." Its a bit morbid but its goblins after all.

Ummm... I think you should reread what you just posted.

Why? This game isnt real you know? Besides after a long siege with goblins I think the dwarves deserve to put them up for display to scare off the other invaders and generally show to everyone what happens when you try to attack the dwarves. Also this is a medival setting and those things were very common back then. Displaying defeated foes and killed infamous thieves/pirates/bandits/rebels.

The Toad hops in mysterious ways.
This pure mountain spring water is indispensable. Literally. I'm out of paper cups.

Consider for a moment the dread of a shield bash with a saguaro shield.

Saguaro "wood" isn't actually that different than tree wood.
Spoiler: AKA Saguaro Ribs: (click to show/hide)

The More You Know!

Oh, interesting! I have only seen a small cactus, so I thought they like made a shield by carving a section of the cactus, drying and attaching leather straps to it. ( ´ー`)

I'm not sure if the truth is more interesting or disappointing, I had fun imagining spears and shields menacing with cactus spines. But the game does say saguaro rib.

It is said knowledge is like a foul-smelling herb. It must be cooked well and thoroughly with experience to make it palatable. A young scholar's knowledge is therefore not only worthless but disgusting. -- In Dwarf Fortress you have another paradigm. Gather as much of that smelly herb as you can and toss it at your enemy, fracturing his skull through the +capybara man leather cap+.

Hi!

"Urist mcwoodcutter has resently enjoyed a well hung goblin corpse."

Actually, I also had to chuckle at this, but not for the reason you considered. I recommend you look at this entry in wikipedia. Looking at the way you phrased that sentence and comparing it to comments about great meals and so on, your line actually sounded very much like an in-game situation - after a bit of modding :) :)

Yours,

Maybe if you are an ogre or minotaur eating the smaller civs.
