Just wait till Toady adds in toilets and dwarf poo

And not to mention Dwarven Diarrhea, with dwarf poo and vomit all over the walls (vomit from disgusted dwarves). Then it is engraved as The Contaminatining. All dwarves who look at it will become queasy. The engraving of vomit is covered in vomit.

Congrats.  The credibility of this thread, such as it was, is now besmirched by the stain of Dwarf Poo mechanics.

I hope you're happy.

Just being able to tweak job priorities manually so that cleaning gets done faster would be a good start. Also, rather than an appointable position, I'd say make cleaning a profession that dwarves can gain points in.

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.
