((Correction: you get a Mk1 and 5 tokens.

I very much recommend waiting to buy new equipment. You won't be able to use it until the next mission anyway, and we're at the sort of turning point where we could get some good new options for spending tokens in the Armory.))

So lets see... equipment ok...Settings ok. Where on the battle field did you want to start?

Starting location: ready to drop

If this isn't enough information, let them drop me in front of the front line. I not possible for some reason, spawn me at the frontline.
Mine eyes are bad, no doubt.

I'll just remind you that the altered you're gonna fight here aren't actual altered. They're toned down versions made for this game.  Would you like to switch it over into real mode or will this do?

it's infinite, but if you fire too much in succession it will have to recharge. Depends on how hard you hit them with it and how hard they are. If you go get an exoskeleton and start bashing a block of steel with it, then yeah, expect some damage. If you're just whacking some guy in the head? It will be fine.

She tells you that you already have a MK1 in your locker next to the hanger, but that you also have 5 tokens you can spend on anything else you want. (You know where the list of stuff in the armory is, right?)

Kyle says after looking over the list of items good and hard.

She takes two of your tokens and hands you the meds you want.

"May want to get yourself a weapon by the way."

You skip past the opening section of being dropped from the ship (figure you want to just get into it) and find yourself down on the battle field. It's very different from what you've seen in previous scenarios; the area you're in isn't damaged or blood soaked, it looks perfectly normal save for all the soldiers swarming all over it. There are no trenches, through there are squat bunkers dug into the landscape in a line, and a deep pit in front of that.  Someone is shouting over the radio.

"To battle stations everyone one. Contact at the base ahead of us. Distance 20 KM. Evac pilots, prepare for lift off."

Go to my battle station. If I don't really have one, move to the front line, somewhere were I have good sight on the enemy while not standing in the way of our own men. Charge an AUX bonus (for shooting with the brace), set laser to max power, minimal diffusion.

Try to get an idea how far I'll need to throw my two flavors of nuke to ensure the bunkers are outside the blast radius.

Wait...it just occurred to me...how are you doing this and tinker at the same time?

And here I was hoping to see some Altered fighting action today. Silly me.

Wait...it just occurred to me...how are you doing this and tinker at the same time?

Because I asked if it was ok if I posted actions in both threads at the same time, and you said yes:

Would you mind if I also tinkered in here while researching in the on ship thread? There's a lot of stuff I wanna do, but I don't wanna overload you with my stuff.

Sure.

So, can I still do that? If so, my action is the same.

If not, save my current settings and quit to tinker.
