Wave hand in front of the spaced-out Roger's face, shrug and walk over to Jim.

A pipe connected to your fluid pod burbles for an instant and a clump of plant matter glides in and lands heavily against your skinless face.

>Really? Hows that working for ya?

Wave hand in front of the spaced-out Roger's face, shrug and walk over to Jim.
You leave the ring and walk over to Jim, staring at his equally spaced out face. Well, faceplate thing.

"Hey, gorilla-man. You were saying something about swords a few minutes ago?"
Look at really sharp sword with interest. Try to take it.
"This one for sale?"

Engage rest of enemy with tesla saber.
[uncon:6+1-1]
You activate your tesla blade and thrust it into the creature's chest, electricity curling and crackling as it explodes and rends flesh into burnt chunks. The creature falls a moment later, nothing left but the legs and lower torso.

"Hey, gorilla-man. You were saying something about swords a few minutes ago?"
Look at really sharp sword with interest. Try to take it.
"This one for sale?"
You pick up the sharp looking blade, turning it over in your hands. It's very very light, and looks practically two dimensional, a sheet of tissue paper attached to a handle. It seems fragile but extremely fatal.

Wheel up to the scientist guy.
"Hey mys-mysterious new guy, what's, what's up?"

"Yeah, yeah, pleasantries and such. Listen, you wanna buy some cool alien shit? They got tons of this stuff just sitting around in the Lab archives. Prototypes, artifacts, weapons, armor, all just stored away and never looked at again. They destroy it after a few years to clear up space."  The guy kicks his crate "So I grabbed some of the stuff they were gonna nuke. No clue what they are, they're all in containers, but hey, I'll sell'em to ya cheap. First one, half price."

You twitch violently as a mild charge tingles through you.

Load up details into the VR. Get exact protection levels if possible.
When you say Exact protection levels, are you asking for like a pounds per a square inch rating? Or a "Will let you take a ballistic SUV to the face" kind of rating?

Thats not really an Herb. Its more a magical...er...fluid? Maybe? I don't think they were ever really clear.

((Why is there a pipe for thyme in my tank?))
What kind of cut rate healing pod doesn't have a spice delivery system? Honestly. Garlic and Oregano are key ingredients in magical space healing.

That and making man stew. If you die then you're heading straight to the kitchen.

I prefer bees. Because then I can imagine he's Nicholas Cage.

It's a calculated risk. You might get something much more powerful then a similar thing you could get for sure for the same amount of tokens.

Plus it's alien stuff and alien stuff is fun and interesting and dangerous. All my favorite things.

((Sounds a little like trouble, but I bet people with good exotic levels have better odds of finding something useful. Or having their brain destroyed by alien equipment, whichever comes first.))
