+1 but the prepared Pokemon shows off lightning reflexes as he jukes out of the path of the Shell! The Green Shell strikes another submerged rock, taking a funny bounce and spinning towards Conker at an unexpected angle! [5]

With one shell left, Olimar decides to pile on, throwing it at the downed Conker! The Green Shell spins by Pikachu, [4]

His work done, Olimar cuts an aggressive line on the track, [5] gaining

Oomph shakes of the stars circling his head after that violent collision, and seeks to make up lost ground! [6] He hews dangerously close to the deep water, gaining

STAR Power, becoming
invincible and gaining
TWO Momentum! He rumbles through the shallow water, [4] spray violently spattering from his star shield as he gains

Movement PhaseMeta Knight skids out of the water, pieces of his broken Kart striking sparks on the pavement! He presses forward, hoping to Pull Ahead [3]
-6+5 but is slowed once more by his damaged Halberd!
Shy Guy follows Meta Knight back onto dry land, but lacks the Momentum for a pass!
Captain Falcon is Driving Defensively, not that he has the Momentum for a pass anyway!
Conker is still struggling to get out of the water after his Green Shell double whammy- if anything, he's moving backwards at this point!
Pikachu is Driving Defensively, but the only way he won't pass Conker is if he crashes right into him! [5]

-3+1 Despite Conker's best attempts to force just such a situation, Pikachu easily swings wide around the troubled racer and takes
Fourth Place, losing
ONE Momentum!
Olimar comes out of the curve with momentum, looking to jump back up the leaderboard! [1]

+1+1 but Pikachu savagely cuts him off, protecting the position he only recently gained! Olimar loses

Sixth Place, lacking the Momentum to charge further!
Link leaves a rainbow streak as he blazes onto the track, looking to climb out of the basement for once this track! [4]

-3+1 He sends the luckless Conker flying once more, the squirrel losing
