Huh, one last spot in the third race, or so the OP says.

Still possible for a new racer?

Racer: Shy Guy
Module: Highly Maneuverable

So wait, Sylph will pay out five coin if they win?
Sylph will pay out 2 coins for a 1st place finish, 1 coin for a 2nd or 3rd place finish, 3 coins for a cup win, and 5 coins if we sponsored the cup (greater image boost for me means greater coin for them). There was a 3 coin signing bonus, so Mario got 3 and we retroactively paid Luigi for his 2nd place finish in the first round.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

You can't afford the highly maneuverable module just yet, it's 6 coins and you only start out with 5. You'll have to choose one of the 3 coin modules, like speedy or high acceleration.

On that note, I'm interested in trading my high acceleration module (the hiccup is rubber band back, if you need a reminder), either for coin or for another module.

I'm blind to that fine print.

Alright, redo:

Racer: Red Shy Guy
Module: Speedy

Not trading, but thanks for the general offer.

I am also still interested in trading my High Accel with Sticky Wheel for a different hiccup (Fox/Yoink, I'm looking at you.)  Sorry Nicholas/Luigi, but not interested in Rubber Band Back.

[4] Fox manages to find an all-night liquor store, and soon enough has a brown paper bag concealing a nice full bottle of Fire Flower Whiskey. As he pulls away from the store, he is surprised to notice pedestrians pointing and smiling at his Kart. Perhaps more surprising, the smiles do not appear to be of derision, but... admiration? That can't be right.

"Eh...?"  Fox squinted at the people on the street, looking at him. They... Liked him? They weren't just mocking him, like the irritating desk-jockeys at the Veteran's Pension office? Maybe he hadn't ruined his chances as a racer with that disaster, after all... Time to make the most of this, he supposed.
Fox revels in their attention, waving to the crowd before doing a screeching handbrake turn in the street before roaring off in the opposite direction, weaving in and out of traffic as he goes!
Then he'll find somewhere pleasant to stop for a drink. A rooftop or something, near the sky.

((I quite like my module and hiccup combo, for now at least. :) ))

Nah, 1 coin isn't enough. Maybe for 2 coins.

How much money would I start with then? Also, are there any benefits besides being able to sponsor more people from having multiple branches? For example, would I earn more money than other companies?

MonkeyKong was looking forward to the second race of the season, but was also getting quite antsy witing for his time to shine, as his species tended to do if not occupied. He might have to create his own fun at the second race. There had to be some bananas in a tree around here somewhere...

Modules cannot be resold, although they can be traded between Players.

Does this include selling to players for Coin?  If I can sell it, I might be willing to sell mine.

So where was Captain Falcon during all the drama? he had taken the race as serious as a champion of the F-zero circuit should, and was on the practice course with the cart colored in his iconic blue. Though he already had his golden years and retired from the racing world, such a legend as himself could not keep away. It was in his blood. He was going to prove to these rookies what he could do.
