I normally wield swords when I'm not feeling insane (not often) and I decorate it until the decorations take up a whole page of their own on the description page. This only happens after a year or so, but SO worth it. Also, MINING PICKS.

Dragon corpses. That's right, the entire corpse. Which always makes it a challenge to hunt down my first dragon and kill it barehanded because it just seems like cheating to use an actual weapon on things. 8)

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

This is a side-effect of dwarven animal training (hit animal with hammer until it forgets that it hates you, then lovingly cuddle it).

It only takes a second to show someone how you feel about them. The police call it "indecent exposure", but whatever.

Tomes.

They almost always, in my experience, vastly outweigh hammers.

Tried punching. After suffocating someone to death by punching them in the lung a 1000x I gave up with that and started using an greataxe duel wielded with a two handed sword...

Recently I have entered business in the field of enforced dentistry - I strangle a random peasant unconscious, pinch out all his teeth, and forcibly implant them into the limbs of passersby.

Other than that I am a swordsdwarf who enjoys chopping people's legs off at the hip before beheading them.

Generally, when one is conducting an experiment, it is worth noting that the observers went insane, killed each other, and then rose from the dead.

As I've been using throwing characters recently, I often introduce myself with a veritable hail of lances/spears/pikes. I've been able to get 10+ stuck in someone due to getting several successive nonlethal hits (although their combined weight didn't slow the person down, oddly). I also permit myself to use edged weapons to sever limbs in order to throw them at other enemies later on, or to dual-wield a high-ranking individual's arms as melee weapons. I've yet to test the coin-bag/waterskin bludgeoning tactic.
