Keep killing people with it.  I'm not sure if it will get a name, but it will get a kill list for sure.

Oh, that happened, all right. No name, but 446 notable kills so far.

I think only dwarves in Fortress Mode can do that.

Actually, that's a better name than most of what my dwarves come up with. What the heck is "Cavedrop" (or something like that) supposed to mean?

Halberd seems to do well for me, although lately I've enjoyed strangling people, and then punching a hole through their head.

I realize I've kept this masterwork fungiwood shield long enough to get 262 kills on it, 102 of them notable, probably because it accumulates credit for kicks and punches as well as the misc shieldbashing. It's nice and lightweight, and effective enough in spite of low density. Does material type matter for shields? This may start to wear out, but lacking that, would steel ever become preferable?

Sharp things and a mace ussually although I have always liked the idea of a bronze collosus outsider throwing his enemies at walls

<<iron shield>>

The most epic thing happened when my adventurer, Erin, lost the use of her left arm and couldn't swing her sword anymore.

She became Captain America. Caving in skulls left and right, she's a legendary fighter, shield user, and dodger. I think she might have severed something other than teeth once with it!

You strike the Maceman in the lower body with your <<iron shield>> and the severed part flies off in an arc.
Maceman: FUUUUUUUUUU-
The Maceman has been struck down.

Hammers for me. At some point, somebody needs to make an adventurer mode-compatible Warhammer of Zillyhoo for DF.

I (somehow) wield a marble coffin that i fill with the corpses of all I have slain (to make an already heavy object even heavier) in one hand, and the other holds a book made out out of fucking platinum. The book can crush skulls, and the coffin grows ever stronger and now that is has a few dead dragons in it, it sends people flying a mile backwards to explode in a pile of gore. Gore which I then place into the coffin, increasing its weight and power.

that is metal as FUCK

That. Just... that. I feel like I need to be standing in a mosh pit just to read this shit as it was originally intended.
