Name: Frank Porter
Age: 36
Physical Appearance: Frank is about 6'1, but weighs only 150 odd. He has long, black hair, bound into a ponytail if he needs to concentrate, but otherwise loose. He has a scrawny face, his brown eyes are set rather deep in his sockets, and he has a low labret piercing - a small metal pin that juts out just above his chin. His skin is quite pale, and in high contrast to the dark clothing he prefers - usually combat boots, black cargo pants, and a studded leather jacket above a t-shirt featuring some demonic, fiery, skeletal, or otherwise eye-catching band logo.

Magical Style: Frank knows only one source of magic: blood. Most often, he carries a few vials of sheep or pig blood with him - whatever he can get his hands on - but those are not quite as powerful as his own, human blood (or that of someone else), so he always has a pack of razors with him, just in case. And a roll of bandages.
Most often he channels the power of blood by using it to write runes on paper, or on walls, but if he doesn't have time for that, he smears his hands and face with the stuff, offering him as much power as a time-consuming rune, but at a much greater instability. In particular, it has been known to cause uncontrollable frenzy, hallucinations, migraines, and very rarely suicidal tendencies.
Focus: Would 'blood' work?
Mundane Skills: Frank has been in more than one bar fight, so he knows how to stay alive in a brawl, overcoming his lack of strength with a good technique and the fact that his opponents are usually drunk. He, himself, never drinks alcohol. Furthermore, his "self-mutilation", as his therapist would call it, caused him, over time, to know how to keep himself from bleeding dry using common first-aid techniques.

Yeah, I took it down. It eats up a bunch of resources, and I was the only one left this late(or early in your case if I recall.)

And before we gen your character, I should probably clarify, you can attend the 10pm EST maptools time right(quarter past 5am EST as of this post)? I seem to remember you were European of some sort, and thus it will be at an extremely rough time for you.

Physical Appearance: About 177cms tall, and weighing in at about 87 kilos, Adrian is of a fairly average build. With short brown hair and green eyes, Adrian would look remarkably unassuming, if it weren't for the numerous scars and seared patches of skin he'd look fairly normal in the shirt and trousers he normally wears. His a boots are oddly coloured though, as well as generally resistant to most environmental hazards

Magical Style: Adrian is fairly adept at using most objects as a "focus" for magic, a trick he learnt while he had a "Unique" job in where any improvement of equipment was beneficial.
Focus: Adrian tends to specialise in improving technology, in ways he's only beginning to understand.
Mundane Skills: Adrian has a doctorate in both Physics and Engineering. He was also a former marine, having a high proficiency with Firearms, though not by any means a sharpshooter.

What is so strange about it? It looks to me just like enchanting with a focus in technology.

It's weird because it's the hypothetical concept of 'improvement' with no other qualifying statements. Enchantments are qualified by how you're improving the thing, and tend to be a rather finite, and they can have drawbacks in areas the enchantment isn't geared toward. What he is doing is overall improvement without any negatives, or a definitive end to how much the technology can be 'improved.' Which is weird. There's nothing wrong with his magic, I'm just confused by it.

But that's what a focus is. It's a broadly defined limiter in which you excel. He put down technology. Almost everything produced by mankind can be defined as technology. Meaning he can improve, seemingly without limit or negative side effects, almost anything he can hold. The only thing stopping him from turning a pencil into a nuke is the lack of understanding of his power.

From my perspective, it is perfectly clear that Mr. Eriksson's magical style involves communicating with and appeasing the numinous spirits of objects and that he has a special affinity for those objects that are created by and therefore subservient to mankind.
