I'm in. My capital is Its been a while since I've played a Stratergy Forum game.

I will be the Imperial Grand Dukedom of Illyria. My capital city is Thororaisi. If possible, I will name my ruler "Grand Duke Rgeront". Expect a greek theme in naming.

Edit: If Dukedom wasn't a word before, it is now goddamn it.

Dukedom is totally a word. Though I'm not sure if it's referring to the domain of a Duke (which I think is Duchy?) or the status of being a Duke.

Either way, nobody's going to tell a Duke his Dukedom is actually a Duchy. :P

Capital of Tarr will be Tarrsil.

Since we can have "Free" buildings and Forbidden was national traits, I want Stone Walls, Smithies, and Marketplaces for free, but since the Dukedom's serfs (Read: 80 percent of the population) are not allowed to learn to read by law Libaries are Forbidden, and by extension, Engineer Guilds, Temples, Aqueducts, and Banks.

The program does support that kind of thing, but I wasn't planning to use it this time. Need to get a better sense for how things balance.
Also, banning libraries blocks you off from pretty much every advanced unit - the building tree goes a lot deeper than before - and also prevents you from collecting inspiration, which is used for things like "all units built here get +20% health". You'd have a big early boost, but you'd be crippled once people start getting pegasus knights and pyromancers and whatnot.

Okay, five players will do. I'll start working on the map. Anyone else who wants in, speak up quick. (Six players really would make it easier to design a neatly balanced map, so a last-minute addition would be welcome.)

Okay, wow. Unexpected delay, here: the terrain painting thing in the admin interface apparently leaks memory all over the place. I'm going to have to fix this before I can make the map.
Wonder when it started doing this. I'm pretty sure this is new...
Edit: Ah, it was the minimap leaking memory every time it updated. All fixed now.

Okay, the map's set up, and unless somebody objects to something (in which case, feel free to speak up), we're ready to play.
Open this file, copy the contents, and paste it into the player interface.

And then we just paste the turn in like this, right?

Spoiler: "Arcadia" (click to show/hide)

That is correct. You'll probably want to use all your free population, though; it does you no good sitting around idle.

I only use pop to claim land, right?

EDIT: New orders up. That's about all I can do right now, correct?

To claim land, and to grow your cities. And, yeah, that's about all you can do.

Spoiler: Duchy of Dunottar (click to show/hide)

Here it goes. I guess it's understood we're not to look at each other's orders.
