I was running around in that big area behind our house. And eventually wandered off a lot father than usual, when suddenly I spotted something

It was this weird glowy thing under a tree! I'm pretty sure it might have been a Martian device or something. No idea why no one had found it before I did.

But anyways I touched it, and there was a HUGE flash of light

Next thing I knew, I had superpowers, that's pretty much it. Weird ain't it?

Joseph: nevermind, more importantly, lemme get this straight. You found a glowy thing lying around. And your first reaction was to touch it.

John: Pretty much.

Joseph: Are you an idiot?
