How do I remove a bridge?

How exactly do I go about removing a bridge? I accidentally messed up and need to figure out how to remove both the designation to build a bridge aswell as an actual bridge, thanks in advance!

Maybe press 't' and select your bridge, then press 'x'?

Thanks, I was stuck in the image that the bridge was counted as a building, sorry >_<

Make sure it has nothing on it when you remove it, there's a bug about items floating in air after that.

Well, I rarely remove bridges since they won't block my way, unless they have a bad looking.
I lost 2 more dwarves in a season flood yesterday. SO I wonder I can seal the dangerous area with bridges.

Hi!

The one thing I have learned is that you can't build bridges over stuff that's in the water.

I had a dwarf drown in a channel and during my attempts to recover the body, I even ordered a bridge to be built right over the square where it lay - the bridge was never built.

Please note that this only applies to cases where there is something left in the water tile, of course.
