Army Arc Compatibility?

Is there any word on whether or not the Army Arc will be compatible with previous versions?

Save compatibility, I assume. I doubt it - there's going to be a lot of changes to the world generation process.

They'll all be save compatible at a basic level, but it won't suddenly create a road network for you, for example, and your adv mode citizens won't have professions.
