Playing in the Tundra
« on: August 08, 2007, 03:49:00 pm »

I was just wandering if you play in the trunda regions (I.E its says no trade for any of the tradable nations) if it's possible to trade atall (even when a road is built), be able to get nobels and more importantly any immigrations besides the summer-smith?

I'm playing a game in the Tundra right now, I've had no trade of any kind (I didn't build a road but no one has visited anyway) and I have no immigration except the metalsmith.  He brought a pesant with him though.

With no trees and no trade it's nice not to have a reason to go outside, so I can make the defences huge and build right on the magma without worrying.

I was very lucky, I have a tundra map thats heavly forested.

I'm not sure but I think if you mine enough wealth and coins nobels may come, Although I'm still trying that theroy.

Currently I'm building a road and alot of coins to see what happens.
