I believe you can guarantee a war by adding the babysnatcher tag to other races, copied over from the goblin race. It would also give us elf and human kidnappers, I guess.

Good reason to kill them then. Would explain why the Dwarves of Blazeforge hate them so. I think this is our solution.

OK, cave-ins were always pretty deadly, but with the new falling object damage they are downright brutal.  As far as I can make out from the logs, many people were killed by the flying bodies of other victims.  One baby's corpse ricocheted off three other people, two walls and the floor.

Maybe they'll snatch adults because from their point of view all dwarves could be babies :D

Right, apparently there is no dwarven word for "Forge", so the fortress is named "Blazefurnace" instead. I'm sure you'll all manage. Now, here are the profiles of the initial seven Dwarves.

THESE ARE THE SECOND WORDS OF THE LAW

I have turned my back on the Mountainhalls at last. I am horrified by their indulgence, their hypocricy and their abandonment of the Words of the law. They are weak, and they forge themselves alliances with our mortal enemies. They sit and eat, and forget how it is to fight, to hunt and to die.

I deem them traitors of Dwarvenkind.

I have left the Mountainhomes, and my heart is less troubled for it. Six of my people have vowed to go with me. I will record their names here.

Blue Cattanstukon, a craftsdwarf. Her abilities are widely praised, as are the broadness of her work. Few are the materials that Blue cannot turn to art. I suspect she goes because of Nix. No matter, I shall not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Nix Fikodtost, an old friend of mine. His tongue was ripped out by goblins - or so the story goes. I can't remember his voice, even if he once had spoken. But I have sparred with him often, and his disgust with the vile excess of our people is clear. He brings along his axe.

Zomara Rovadlaz lives by the old woodsman's code. He does not grow his food, and his hair is long and braided. With him is his dog, a fearsome beast. When rumour spread of my expedition, he came to my door one night, pledged his alliegience, inquired of the date and time of the expedition, and left again.

"William Kingston" Nosimvucar. Who am I to guess at what happened to William? It is strange enough that she has taken a human name - it is even odder that she shows no sympathy for the People of the Plains. However, she vowed her pick to our expedition. I would not turn her down.

Geb Senglikot, my oldest friend, Holder of the Law. It was her who planted the seed in my mind, that the Mountainhomes had become corrupt and treacherous, and that Dwarfkin could live differently. That there was honour to be had in leaving. She showed me the ancient stone tablets upon which the Words of the Law are written. She agreed to follow us. It warms my heart.

Eldes Inashzon, the Butcher. There is something unsettling about Eldes. I cannot say if it is her association with blood. I cannot say if it is because of her mastery of the sword, or if we Mountainkin always are unsettled by those who brew our drink. The Butcher will have plenty of work however. There are both animals and monsters in need of slaughtering.

We set out tomorrow, to Sakrithsarvesh, to Blazefurnace! Steel, fire, meat, industry! We shall forge from the bones of the Earth a bastion of honour, a bastion of justice. Geb suggested we call ourselves Dur Imketh - the Fist of Justice. I deem the name appropriate. We will be the hammer upon the treacherous elf, the murdering man and the thieving goblin. Our tower like a sword, and I am the architect like the smith. There is yet hope for Dwarvenkin.
