Cleaning
« on: March 29, 2008, 03:59:00 am »

All of my dwarfs try to clean but cancel it due to no path. I'm guessing it's the magma man corpse that's in magma. I get maybe a notice every second about this too. Any ideas?

You wouldn't happen to be dumping excess stone into the magma, would you?  That results in "molten (rock)", which asks to be cleaned up.  Corpses, "indepenedent limbs", chunks and small critter remains all fall under "refuse hauling", not cleaning.  The job for those would be "store item in stockpile" or "dump item".

Why would molten rock need a cleaning order?  I'm assuming, since it's molten, that it'd probably be a very bad idea to pick it up.

Why do dwarves pick up burning socks from outside during a siege?  It's just one of those facts of life.
