Try to send broadcast a message through the green blob to renounce the alert as a false alarm. Or convince the green blob to do so, whichever one is acceptable.

If that fails, stuff the blob in one of your pillow covers to prevent it from seeing anything and bring it along. Then hide in the armoury.
