I have issues with lucid dreaming. I'm pretty good, I can do it maybe 5/7 days a week. I use it as wish-fulfillment, but sometimes I can't distinguish real life from it. So when I wake up, I'm always disappointed, as I didn't do everything I wanted to, for fear that I was just imagining it. I found myself asking "Is this the real life?", hoping that it was. Unfortunately, when I awoke I always awoke a poor boy and nobody loves me.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I know what you mean. Some days it just feels like I'm still just a rat in a cage.

This might be better in forum games, as well.
