Earth Fortress v1
Made for Dwarf Fortress v0.34.11

This is a total conversion mod that will remove as many fantasy elements and add as many real life elements as possible.

DOWNLOAD
Simply copy the contents into your raw folder to install. This mod is highly incompatible with other mods.

Version 1; Removing non Earth-like Creatures and Entities:
  • Animal people converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
  • Giant version animals converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
  • Entities(dwarf, elf, goblin, etcetera) converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
  • Subterranean creatures converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
  • Good/evil creatures(unicorn, nightwing, etcetera) converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
  • Gnomes converted to fanciful and nonexistent.
Coming Soon:
  • Removing non Earth-like Plants and Trees
  • Adding Diverse, Earth-like Human Entities
  • Adding Earth-like Plants and Trees
  • Adding Uses for Plants and Trees
  • Adding Earth-like Creatures
  • Adding Uses for Creatures

I wouldn't mind playing that.

maybe make horses the only MOUNT creature, so seiges and invaders ride horses. I'd get the pikes out to counter that cavlary

I'll probably stick with the same time frame as the original game.

I wouldn't mind playing that.

I'm going to make a first pass on everything first, but that is a good idea for the finer tuning of the mod.

Though I guess some of them are hard coded into the game.

Night creatures you must disable through worldgen, titans as well.

They are still there, but since there is only one entity and they have a different site preference than dwarves these animals may not show up as often during embark preparation.

Unless I've installed this incorrectly, All the various megabeasts and night creatures are still here.

Though I guess some of them are hard coded into the game.

Night creatures you must disable through worldgen, titans as well.

I'll add a custom world gen file in the next update.
