Main game is a go.
You are traveling, finally. The end of the school year trip has always been the high point of the school year. The bus is mostly empty, around 15 students ride with you. Several other kids were banned from the trip for violence. Mostly everyone was sitting quietly, chatting to their partners. You look up toward the front of the bus; the driver grabs something black from beneath his seat and puts it over his face. A small hiss escapes from beneath your seats, but you put it down to a broken seal in the metal. A few seconds later, someone falls off their seat and slumps to the floor. You try to stand up, but your muscles feel weak. You look up toward the driver in panic and try to yell but all that comes out of your mouth is a strangled gasp. He looks back toward you, and the final thing you see as your vision hazes over is a black rubber gas mask staring at you.
You wake up slowly, a pounding headache making your current existence hell. The dull roar of an engine muffles the clink of the chains binding you to the bench. You look around and see the rest of your class chained to the bench with you. You seem to be in a cargo plane. Opposite you, there is a man in a suit. He appears to be talking through a radio distractedly. A minute or two later, the rest of your classmates wake up, shaking their heads and groaning. The man looks up and smiles. “Hello there. My name is Derik. You may be a bit upset at the moment, seeing that I have kidnapped you and your currently on a cargo plane headed for who knows where” Several students began yelling at him, trying to get answers. He chuckled. “Please shut up. Now, as to why I kidnapped you. In recent years the government has been slowly losing control of the populace. Also, the people who have a lot of money aren't giving nearly enough to our leaders. Obviously, they could just take it via taxes or something to that effect. The problem is, rich people love money, and they love to keep it. So, we have created a new way of taking away their cash. I represent The Company, we have created a new sport, a blood sport to be precise. You are going to fight each other, and not just fight, fight and kill. Now, you may be doubting my seriousness, so, I will be preforming a small demonstration” Two men emerged from between some crates, hauling a third. “This, is your math teacher, Mr. Garon” Derik drew a pistol from his coat and leveled it between the teachers eyes, he moved slightly, as if trying to shake the effects of the gas off. “Mr. Garon is going to die” A shot rang out, accompanied by an explosion of blood and bone. Garon slumped in his captors arms, and they roughly dropped him to the ground. Blood began to ooze across the floor. “Now that you see I am serious, let me finish. You are going to fight with, and kill, your classmates. It is going to be uploaded to the internet and we will make a lot of money from the betting. You are going to be dropped on an island, with a weapon and a pack of supplies and then people will start being killed. Someone must die every 24 hours or you will all be killed. Now, for the rules. Number one: There will be only one winner. The game will end when one person is left. Number two: There places I do not want you to go. These places will be declared Danger Zones and if you go into one you will be killed. Number three: You can try to escape if you want, but will all be wearing ankle trackers, have fun getting shot in the face. Number four: No messing with the cameras or anklets, You will die. Anyway, children, have fun. I will be watching. You have all been issued bags, and had your previous weapons taken away. Now, I think we are here” Derik takes a gas mask from beneath his seat, a familiar hiss fills the plane as the plane tips to one side, turning. You black out.
