Accusations & Deities
« on: June 18, 2012, 07:20:58 pm »

So I accused this Deity of being a night creature, which is CLEARLY was.
Insert generic (WHAT MADNESS IS THIS!?) response here.
It's a scaly kangaroo with poisonous dust. Don't you think anyone would notice it's probably a fucking demon?
Derp. I thought you challenged them, then they became hostile.
Isn't there a rule that they have to reveal themselves as evil bastards?
EDIT: Also; Here's a link to all the damage my hammerman's done. It still won't die.

Night creatures are vampires, werewolves, etc. The thing you have there is a demon that has tricked everyone into thinking it is a god. If you attack it, you attack a moral citizen and everyone will kill you dead.

Yes, I found that out. It's surprisingly resilient too my attacks, as the image will show you.

Punch it in the head a few times, or even bite it. For some reason that works better then hammers (no clue why)

Clearly demons are more intelligent than vampires.

I mean, look the average vampire:

adventurer acusses Farmer A: What is this maddnes.
adventurer accuses Farmer B: The same
.....
adventurer accuses Farmer M: Oh no, i have been caught, lets admit than i am a vampire right next to a dozen angry peasants.

In a hole in the ground there lived a dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dwarf fortress, and that means magma.

HAHA YES
I have fooled you puny mortals and now I shall boil your eyes and maybe pancreases with the unholy might of the underworld! I shall peel off your skin in strips and sew your eyes open with it so that you must look unblinking upon the horror of your own family being ripped...

Wait, did you say Night Creature?
Oh.
Then no, not it.

A shame there is no concise way to sig this. Most entertaining.

This won't work in a world already generated for some reason(even using replacing stuff), but for future worlds you can create a boiling rock(or use extracted mists), a reaction to create it, and a syndrome that gives you an interaction to turn someone into a night creature, and you can turn the peasants on demons(also really anyone you'd like too!)

Maybe that the dwarves never died and everyone is just shunning them.
"Wait, what are you doing?  I don't want to go in there!  No, I'm still alive, you can't do this to me!  Is Anybody listening?  Hello... Can someone let me out?  Help me!  Is anyone there?  I'm running out of air!"

There is a scaling thing where the giant demon is wearing giant clothing. His shirt alone weighs about 322 kg. The game treats all of the clothing as being rather thick, so weapons aren't very effective. The demon is much easier to kill if the clothing is removed. Try to set the clothing on fire or something.

How would you set his clothing on fire? Making campfires around him and trying to knock him into them?

A campfire is the equal of a 400-feet thick steel wall.

IM still trying to figure out how I cut a dragon down the middle with a dagger, as a kobold, on my first 2 minutes of gametime.
