yeah, something I haven't ever tried. :/ cave ins sound difficult on a monster that swims. Especially when I don't know how to cause them

well if it has to swim in, set up a ludacris amount of traps around a support rigged to a lever, and carve out an open area to build a floor on. DIsconnect it with that z level and wait. It'll eithe rtry and smash the support and kill itself, the support going will kill it, or it'll be stunned and knocked into a trap.
