Adventure mode: Save while dead crash?

I've heard about this from two different people -- is it reproducible on the new version?  I made an adventurer, got killed, saved, loaded, quit and did it again a few times.  I tried dying in a cave, the wilderness and a town (a merchant beat me to death after I missed with my axe swing).  If anybody has had this happen on 0.21.95.19c (the latest), it would be good to know.
