A few new commands for squads!

I dunno if anything like this has been suggested before, but when I took a quick peek at the forum it doesn't seem like it. Someone on Reddit inspired me with these, as he tried to figure out how to get a drowning baby out of shallow water, and I thought I'd just throw them out there:

At the moment you can command a squad to Attack a target, and that's pretty much it, from what I've seen. But what if you could do more? Maybe a couple additional commands that have the military priority (as in drop everything and do this right now):

Arrest. Detains the target and transports them to a jail area if there is one, or the squad detains them in place until they're relieved.

Rescue. One squad member grabs the target and carries them to the closest meeting area if they are healthy, or to the closest hospital if they're injured. The other squad members attack anything that was attacking the target.

Escort. The squad follows their target along wherever it goes, and rushes ahead to attack anything that is near it. If the squad gets too far away during combat, a few leave to continue escorting the target, until no one remains left to protect them.

Dumb ideas, or what?

Just created an account to say, I totally agree with this. Fyi, the baby ended up rescuing himself (Must have needed to go drinking or trim his braided beard).

Anyway, if anything, arresting someone might be a good alternative to killing them. It would require wrestling to be at a certain level. Rescuing someone would be great, especially if a squad could swim.

Concept:
Rescuing and arresting could be grouped into a single ability, like "secure" or "apprehend".
Rope would be used as a weapon, I guess, to tie someone in a fight. Maybe we could make cuffs from different metals.

However, it shouldn't be a replacement for traps. So it might only apply to dwarves that belong to the fort. Everyone else, not in the fort, can go feel a spear point.  :P

@Tokeli, I luv the escort idea.  Like a wingman.  That could have teamwork applications, with high focus/observe hunter helping high agility/archer hunters, in order to cover more area, hit more accurately and uncover more lurkers.  Great!

The other two concepts are already implemented, but out of the players control.  I'm guessing ya just missed them, in hectic game play.  *shrug*  They just happen as part of the fun.  Arresting won't happen if Justice restraints are not built.  Bringing water and Rescuing a dwarf is part of the nursing skills/hauling skills.  They happen on their own, too.

Nonlethal combat to capturing tantrumming dwarves is also being implemented, right now. (See devlog) That will allow the militia to capture tantrumming dwarves rather then killing them.

Felix False:
Tantruming Dwarves can already be captured. By getting arrested. Did you mean Dwarves that have gone insane?
