return of dead heroes?

This is kinda inspired by that angel thread a bit ago...

So far all ghosts do are bad things, and they only do so because they're mad.

What if, in addition, if you bury a dorf you really respected (legendary warrior or miner or something) in a great tomb, they may linger for a bit, or visit from the afterlife.

This could manifest in a few ways:
1) A ghostly apparition is working the mines when no one is near, magically transporting the stone/ore to the stockpiles
2) A young dwarven militiaman, unable to grasp the art of battle and frustrated by the practices suddenly enters a conversation with an entity unseen, gaining a boost in skills and morale afterwards
3) In a battle, a goblin is about to deliver a final blow to a dwarf, only to have his attack blocked/weapon fly out of his hand/guts spilt out as though cut by an invisible blade, an apparition appears in front of the saved dwarf moments later.
4) An unconscious dwarf is in the hospital, dying of an unknown disease/incurable wound. His ailments are magically healed when no one was nearby and a faint apparition, little more than a shadow, can be seen watching over him for a few days, as though in fear for his health.

These are just some examples... These should depend on the ghost's skill set and happen more often to the people the ghost cared about in life

GreatWyrmGold:
Overall, only if the dead guy is happy. This would probably be likelier if the burial accomadations and/or slab's memorial garden thingy were nice and if the dwarf's survivngfrieds and family were happy.

About the specific ways:
1. Seems a bit mundane. Maybe happy spirits could haul if they were supposed to do something (due to happiness and the amount of time taken), if they have nothing else to do.
2. Any newb should be able to be tutored by master/legendary ghosts.
3. "Ghost-Martyrs of Boatmurdered--ATTACK!"
4. Not sure. Maybe if it was some kind of supernatural ailment, or caused by an unhappy ghost.

4. Or a relative or former title holder. Ie the old baron's ghost healing the new ones mysterious burn wounds.

Corai:
I could see nobles returning from the grave to "bless" the fort with there "renewed life."

Quick, find a way to kill ghosts.
