Crippled Necromancers animating their immobile limbs

(1/5) > >>

Kolnukbyne:
So I was playing in adventure mode as a necromancer when I was crippled due to spinal damage. I lost the ability to walk and grasp.
But hey, I'm a necromancer! Surely a necromancer should be able to 'reanimate' his 'dead' limbs, right? I think maybe this would return functionality to them with the bonus that you no longer receive penalties from pain on those limbs, only with the drawback that they won't heal from damage. If you get cut or the limb is broken then it will be like that forever.

GreatWyrmGold:
Maybe. I'm not sure how "dead" it has to be before a necromancer can touch it. And, seeing as player-created zombies aren't under player control, zombies don't seem to be directly under the necromancer's control. This means that you would be unable to control your own limbs...Heck, yeah, let's do it!

Funk:
as the limb is still part of your body it is not dead.
cut it off then you can reanimate it.

(or if you are a were wolf clone your self)

GreatWyrmGold:
You can't cut off your own limbs (yet), and even if you could it wouldn't be attatched to your shoulder or hip anymore.

DrunkenCaveOgre:
Thatd be cool kinda like in the movie Re-Animator, we could walk around carrying our own severed head. But we would need to regularly animate it or something
